The battery is pretty long lasting, likley due to optimized OneUi9 and the silicon carbon battery. I can get 7-8 hours of real usage with this beast. 2. Cameras and videos are pretty good for a foldable device, I like the fact that I can use expert raw to customize some settings to get better quality results. 3. The galaxy AI features often come in handy for work and travels. The 7 year of promised updates also a great plus. 4. Some feedback for future improvements- improve the telephone lens for better zoom and night photography, make it dual physical nano sim instead of single sim.

It is light enough to be like the normal phone I use previously but when you need a bigger screen for watching YouTube or multitasking you just have to unfold it. The AI function from galaxy phone is very good too, it works perfectly when i want to remove some of the background people or items. The camera has very high resolution, can zoom and take photo very clearly and the image colour is vibrant to my liking. Overall, a solid phone for me to use for my daily work and leisure. I look forward to using it daily and will encourage people to try the fold phone if they are still considering.

On the Honor phone, pairing with a Wear OS watch (Oppo Watch X2) only sent a single short vibration per call, causing me to miss incoming WhatsApp calls constantly. The issue was phone-dependent, not watch-dependent, as even a non-Wear OS watch like the Amazfit Balance 2 now reliably receives and answers WhatsApp calls on the Samsung. It’s a game-changer when key notifications actually work the way they should! Besides the above, it comes with a bigger screen compared to my previous phone and has many reliable and powerful features found in the Samsung Good Lock app!

It is slim, light weight, yet powerful. Multi tasking is a breeze. However, found that some commonly used app like Tiktok is not optimized. Also, the main selling point is the crease. It is less noticeable but if you look for it it is there. It doesn't affect viewing of the screen. I enjoy the phone a lot and given how powerful it is I can probably not change for the next 2 years.

For everyday tasks, I actually use it folded most of the time, and the slimmer body makes it comfortable to use like a regular phone. Whenever I need more screen space, I can simply unfold it and enjoy the much larger display. Reading, watching content and multitasking are especially enjoyable on the bigger screen. I was initially concerned that the crease might be distracting, but when the screen is on, I hardly notice it during normal use. Battery life has been good for my daily usage and comfortably gets me through the day. Overall, I really enjoy the flexibility the Fold8 Ultra offers. It feels polished, practical and surprisingly easy to get used to as an everyday phone.

When i play YouTube it's impossible to see the the center line. On top of that when I do split screen, it felt that I am using a tablet. The slimnesss and light design that easily fit my jacket. The cover screen itself the onscreen keyboard widen to type and I don't have any spelling error. Awesome invention.

The crease is almost gone and the screen is so much brighter. I swear Its not just me, the screen is also ever so slightly sharper too. Pity we only get 1 camera upgrade, but that's the one i want for groups shots using rear cam selfie. As a long time Fold user, its such a great time to use Fold and Flip.

It makes multitasking feel so much more natural — having multiple apps open, replying to messages while checking something else, or just using it like a mini tablet is genuinely useful. What I also like is that it doesn’t feel like a phone you buy just for the “wow” factor. After using it, I can actually see myself taking advantage of the folding design every day. I haven’t really found any major drawbacks so far, which surprised me. It’s obviously a premium phone, but for me, the experience makes it worth it. Overall, I’d say the Samsung Fold 8 Ultra is definitely worth buying, especially if you want something that can give you both a phone and tablet-like experience in one device. For me, that big screen and the multitasking alone make a huge difference. Verdict: Worth buying. 👍

Rated 5 out of 5 by Composerlimechicken from Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra If you wonder where you need the improved camera on this device compared to other devices, well you don't realise you need it until you actually encounter a situation where you whip out your phone and try to snap a shot of a faraway rare bird, or trying to identify a distant object. That's when you realise its worth it to have the best possible camera on hand. The battery life is more than ample for heavy daily use, whether productivity, camera usage or heavy gaming. You would not really need to carry around portable chargers or powerbanks with this. I appreciate the slim design, which ends up feeling lighter to carry than its size would suggest. This also means that when clad in a case it still fits in pockets quite well, which is not always the case with other large slab like devices. Would recommend this device for those who need the big internal screen but still value the lightness and slim form factor.

The large foldable display is the biggest advantage, giving me the convenience of a smartphone and compact tablet in one device. Multitasking is excellent. I can view emails, documents and websites side by side, making the Fold particularly useful for work and productivity. The outer screen is convenient for quick tasks, while unfolding it provides much more space when needed. The iPhone still excels in simplicity, consistency and ecosystem integration, but the Fold offers greater flexibility, customisation and multitasking. Camera performance is also impressive, with plenty of useful options. Overall, I am very satisfied with the Fold 8 Ultra. Once you get used to the larger display, going back to a conventional phone feels restrictive. Highly recommended for productivity and everyday use.

It has a 5000 mah battery for all day use and a 200 mp camera which makes the ultra stands out from the normal fold. It also allows me to multi task with a bigger screen estate and now I can message, game, and watch videos all at the same time.
