Rated 2 out of 5 by Ed L from LED display faulty after less than 6 months. Disappointed. Expensive. LED display faulty after less than 6 months of use. Water bucket feels flimsy like it will break off from the screws anytime. Buttons are a little difficult to press and do not have back lit hence difficult to operate in the dark. Does it's job extracting water from the air.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BeGu28 from Effectively removes humidity and bad smells [Employee of philipsglobal] I have been using this product for half a year now, especially during rainy months to quickly dry my laundry and reduce the humidity in my home. It is also effective in removing smells when we repainted our house. Definitely recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by WeiJian from Best Purifier Ever! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used quite a number of air purifier in my life but nothing has ever come close to this! In terms of the build, the purifier is heavy and sturdy. In terms of practicality, purifiers are not meant to be moved around, so, it doesn't bother me too much. I like the way the purifier is sturdy and doesn't fall if ever someone were to accidentally knock it down. In terms of design, it is beautiful as it complements any room. There is a light which changes colour according to the humidity of the air and it is fascinating to watch. If it is too disturbing, you can choose to shut it down while leaving the purifier operating as usual. The air purifier is also a dehumidifier where it sucks all the water vapour in the air and stores it in the internal tank that is well-hidden. There is a functionality where you can change the humidity in the air of the room which is really helpful because I wouldn't want the air to be too humid where it encourages mold growth and at the same the air to be too dry where it dries up the skin. There is also timer function which I feel is utmost important as I do not want the machine to continue working after I am asleep as there was once I left it on without the timer, it made the air too humid that I abruptly sprang up awake in the midnight. Air purifiers are meant to purify the air and it does just that perfectly! I usually have sinus in the morning but after I have used the air purifier running for an hour, I realise that I don't sneeze anymore when I wake up in the morning. This is also evidenced by my toddler who always have flu. Ever since I used the purifier, I can't remember when was the last time she blew her nose! Just amazingly effective. The only improvement point I would like to suggest is that the manuals should be improved as it doesn't properly describe how to operate the machine. I would highly recommend this purifier to anyone who is seriously considering to invest in one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jet97787 from Best Air Purifier [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this machine! Function - Superb Fulfilled what i need for the house. I have used the dehumidifier for drying of indoor clothes and it works really well! No weird smell and the clothes smell and feel fresh! I have used the Purifier occasionally and the indicator also tells you indoor quality. It does remove dampness from the house and unpleasant smell from the post renovation and new furniture smell. Exterior - Bulky / Aesthetically nice It's bigger than what i have expected however there's wheels and its easy to move. The exterior is nice and it did not spoil the appearance of my house! Convenience Pre-filter can be washed! Recommended product. :

Rated 4 out of 5 by hueywen from It works well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently, I have been battling mold problem on my furniture. The area I live in is humid and not so ventilated due to low floor. I do travel quite a bit for work sometimes being away for up to 5 weeks without anybody taking care of my room. This dehumidifier came in just in time for my problem. I run it on 50% humidity with timer while I am away to work. The very assuring thing is that it has auto detect function - once the water tank it is full, it switches to only purifier mode. My room does feel, much drier and i actually felt the difference in my skin. I have to slather on so much more moisturizer on my skin. I have also tried to put it in my toilet after I was done, within 2 hours, my entire toilet floor is more or less dry. Used the laundry function too, my duvet cover went full dry in half a day. Put it in the room after I showered my cat, my cat's fur dried in almost half the time it usually takes. No doubt, it is a very powerful humidifier, however it is such a bulky and heavy item. It is suitable for living room but not bedroom. Rolling around is not easy because the wheels are not the most flexible. Also, the air blown out in dehumidifier function can get pretty hot. Sometimes, i just use the air purifier function in my room since everyone around me is falling sick. But for such a big item just for air purifying function, probably doesn't make so much sens. All in all, it is a machine that does it's job well. But we all know that this kinda dehumidifier cost a lot in Singapore. So for it's retail price, I am not sure if it is worth it unless you do have a huge problem with humidity causing you damage in your furniture and health. This will definitely help with that and I am keeping it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by squarerooms from Liking it but not loving it yet.. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is my first time using a dehumidifier/air purifier and I was surprised at the size and bulk of the machine when I received it. It is a little heavy (hard for my wife to manage) but fortunately it has wheels although it would be much better if the wheels are multi-directional instead of just horizontal movement. Going through the user manual, it was rather annoying that the pictures are separated from the text providing the description of the overview and controls. The manual can definitely use some improvement. I placed the machine in my bedroom and tried to leave it running when going to sleep and here’s what I think. The air quality light is bright but fortunately it can be turned off. When on auto mode, it sometimes goes into higher fan speed which makes it rather noisy. You can probably manually set the fan speed to low but it would be cool if it has a sleeping mode function button so you can just leave it running through the night while you sleep. I place the machine at a corner far away from the bed and I felt a remote control would be really useful to have so I don’t have to walk over to the machine to adjust the fan speed or turn it off when I don’t want it. The timer function is also a good feature as I often set it to run for an hour or two when I am outside my room. We can definitely feel there is a difference in the air after leaving the machine running. And the dehumidifying function is definitely working based on the amount of water collected in the tank. Although, the water collection tank is big, so it might be a little too heavy to manage when it is full. There is also the laundry drying mode which we have yet to try. Overall, we found the machine easy to use, works well and we are pleased with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by neztin from Purify and dehumify my room [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally I have the chance to unbox DE5205/30 Air Purifier and Dehumidifier. When I first received the box, I am so overwhelmed by the size as it is huge, thinking how am I able to assemble it. The box was bubble wrap securely to ensure the product was damage-free. I am so excited to unbox it as I pop some of the bubbles. Unboxing was fairly easy as it is straighforward, contained the item air purifier itself with the additional pipe as shown in the picture. I like how thoughtful that the machine has wheels so that it will benefit us women who have difficulty moving bulky item from one place to another. Although it looks huge, but when I place it in the corner of my room, it looks just nice. The design makes it looks cleans and elegant. How to use the machine is easy, as I just let the auto mode do the magic. It is advise not to on/off the machine often. So it is best to on it for quite some time before off it. When I first use it, I was skeptical in thinking how well it is able to purify the air, as it is something that we cant see since the allergens are sk microscopic. One thing for sure, my husband has a sensitive nose, and before using this product, he always sneeze in the room. The day I used this purifier and until now, I have never heard him sneeze again. Yes, it is that amusing! I’m already fall in love with that fact. What amused me further is the sensor. The sensor is very sensitive. When I saw the air has been purify as the sensor turns blue. I opened the door which outside is kinda smoky as my helper is cooking in the kitchen. And the air quality changes immediately to pink colour which indicates need to purify. In just that split of seconds! As my room is attached to the toilet, it is expected that I will need the dehumidifier function. The amount of water it collected is alot, for which I am thankful to have this machine. I recommend this product strongly if you need both air purifier and dehumidifier as it will safe space.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jartem from Controls humidity level well Humidity can be controlled from 40-80%. Screen also shows % of humidity of the room at the start. After using it for 4 hours the first time, can feel that the humidity in the room set at 50% is much more comfortable. Should help to prevent molds too. Haven't really tested the purifier function but 2 in 1 is useful! Especially during hazy days

Rated 4 out of 5 by SleepySimon from Massive Multi-function Air Cleaner [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Massive! That was what came to mind when the box arrived. It was also quite heavy when I took the product out from the box, which might be a little tough for ladies. Side by side with my current air purifier, which works for my room, the DE5205/30 Air Purifier & Dehumidifier was easily double in size. That said, it is understandable as the dehumidifier is integrated and a compressor is contained inside. After going through the user manual, operation is easy and straightforward. The blower is smooth and quiet too. Something else I like about it is the cable management. Being able to wind the cable behind, it certainly looks neater. Update After 2 weeks of usage: All is good! Have tried the dehumidifier function and is amazed how much water can be pulled out from the air. Like the fact that we can view the humidity level on the fly. The machine also stops the dehumidifier function when the container is almost full. However, the dehumidifier works by warming up the surrounding air, and it is quite unbearable when people are in the room. The only way was to run the dehumidifier when we are out of the house.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Noclaf from Good Dual-Purpose Product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The box that was delivered was smaller than I had expected. I had previously used an Air Purifier from another brand and had been expecting a similar "bulk". Unboxing took a bit of effort, but nothing unexpected from a device of this size. Seeing device itself, I'm pleasantly surprised by the actual unit and design. It is something that I wouldn't mind leaving it out in the leaving room even when I have guests coming. Setting it up is quite a breeze. Having used the device for a couple of days, the standout feedback that I've received is that there seems to be less dust on the floor. I don't have much of a humidity issue at home but it does seem to remove the faint musty smell that is in my wardrobe. It would be nice if it has wheels that can rotate 360 degrees. Would make positioning it and moving it from room to room so much more easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jaaasooon from A product that meets my expectations [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, thanks for selecting my family to try out this powerful dehumidifier. Singapore weather is always very humid, and the reading of my humidity meter at home is always about 70-80%. I always wanted to buy an dehumidifier to keep the home humidity at 50% to stay away from ‘shiqi’ from TCM perspective. We unboxed the device on the day of arrival and immediately deployed to action. Below is the pros and cons that we summarized after using the device for some time. +control panel are very easy to use. Options are intuitive and understandable. +very fast to dehumidify the air. It takes about 20 minutes to adjust my room humidity from 75% to 50%. +large volume of water tank. It means that you don’t have to dispose the water often. I do it only once a week. +child lock feature. the dimension of the product makes it accessible to kids, by having the child lock functionality, the dehumidifying process won’t be interrupted by naughty kids. -it is a bit heavy to move. But it comes with wheels at the bottom. -it could be a bit noisy if the targeted humidity is a bit lower that the actual humidity. So I usually turn it on before going to sleep so that by the time I went to bed, it could be in quiet mode already. Below are some advice to improve: - Add remove control functionality. By traditional remote controller, or by apps on the phone. We enjoyed the whole experience with this device and will definitely keep it after the campaign period.
