For maximal dosing accuracy and consistency, this coffee scale has a least count of 0.1 g and a maximum weight capacity of 650 g. Its tare function allows you to weigh the ground coffee as you fill your filter insert without the weight of the filter insert itself being added.

The scale runs on 2 AAA batteries (not included). If the scale is not used for 60 seconds or longer, it switches off automatically to save the batteries. The scale comes with a transparent lid that can be placed over the scale when not in use to protect it from damage and dust.

A backlit LCD display informs the user of the measured weight, selected settings and even indicates when the scale is overloaded or requires battery replacement. The scale lets you select different units of the metric as well as imperial measuring system: gram (g), ounce (oz), troy ounce (ozt) and carat (ct). Therefore, the scale is even capable of weighing precious metals and diamonds with precision.
