As of April 15, 2026, the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) has implemented strict new safety requirements for all flights departing Singapore.
Capacity Limits
Power banks with a capacity of not more than 100Wh (~27,000mAh) are allowed in carry-on luggage without special approval.
For units between 100Wh - 160Wh (up to 43,000mAh), prior airline approval is required. In all cases, passengers are limited to a maximum of 2 units total per person.
Anything exceeding 160Wh is strictly prohibited.
