SINGAPORE – 12 September 2024 – COURTS (Singapore) Pte Ltd (“COURTS Singapore”), one of the leading electrical, IT and furniture retailers in the region and a wholly owned subsidiary of Nojima Corporation, today announced the launch of the COURTS DCS Mastercard, in partnership with DCS Card Centre (DCS).
“We’re thrilled to partner with DCS and leverage their industry-leading expertise for the COURTS DCS Mastercard. COURTS sought to create a credit card with something for everyone, and achieved that with DCS. Staying true to our mission, we want to make life more rewarding for our customers. We will continue raising the bar with our products and services, providing our customers with an enhanced retail experience while shopping with us,” said Mr Higashiura Hidenari (Harry), Group CCO of Nojima APAC Limited and Country CEO of Courts Singapore & Malaysia.
The COURTS DCS Mastercard has an attractive two percent cashback, currently one of the best in the market, waiving first year annual fee while offering a slew of other benefits for cardholders. Singles beginning their careers, budding couples, and young families will find the card’s rewards system beneficial as they will be able to get credit card cashback and earn HomeClub points concurrently that can be offset on the next purchase.
Members of HomeClub, COURTS’ exclusive rewards program, can earn twice the points with every purchase to unlock members-only discounts and access to closed-door events such as private sales and monthly specials. Amongst the other benefits, the credit card will provide free delivery and installation on select purchases, monthly lucky draws for new sign ups, discounted warranties and services, and monthly exclusive brand promotions.
“At DCS, we are firm believers in driving payments innovation that meets the needs of everyday consumers. The COURTS DCS Mastercard will provide COURTS’ well-established and loyal customer base with a credit card that caters to their evolving shopping needs, while providing greater convenience and digital-first features that will make their payments swift, seamless and secure,” said Mr. Charles Huang, Chairman of DCS Fintech Holdings.
Formerly known as Diners Club Singapore, DCS is a pioneering financial institution that was among the first to launch credit cards in Singapore in 1973. Governed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore under the Banking Act, it was rebranded as DCS Card Centre in 2022, and has evolved into a fintech company leading the next payment frontiers with future-ready payment solutions.
