COURTS Donates S$30,000 vouchers to low-income families
- In conjunction with its 50th anniversary, electrical goods, information technology (IT) and furniture retailer, COURTS, donated $30,000 worth of vouchers to help 600 low-income families in East Coast GRC and Tampines GRC.
- Recipients can use the vouchers at 13 COURTS branches across Singapore under the initiative, which is being worked on in collaboration with grassroots organisations.
- COURTS Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Harry Higashiura, was quoted saying that the philosophy of our parent company, Nojima Co, is to contribute to society through its products. Courts want to help in terms of daily life and that customers and communities have been the foundation of COURTS success. This initiative reflects COURTS gratitude, and dedication to supporting those in need.
- According to Mr Tan Kiat How Courts contribution will benefit many underprivileged households in East Coast GRC and that the vouchers will be distributed to ComLink families living in rental flats and families with school going children. ComLink family is a family with children under the age of 21 and living in a public rental flat.
