COURTS Causeway Point Unveils Next-Generation Store Experience
- COURTS reaffirms commitment to bringing ‘Megastore’ experience to heartlands, unveiling next in line in its store transformation roadmap
- COURTS Causeway Point will officially open to public on Saturday
21 March 2019, Singapore – COURTS Singapore, leading retailer of home electronics, IT and furniture products, will be unveiling its newly refurbished Causeway Point store to the public on Saturday, 23 March 2019. The refurbishment is part of COURTS’ move to revitalise its physical store network with its next-generation store experience. The store boasts over 34,000 square feet of redesigned space and is the next in line in the retailer’s store transformation roadmap, following its Ang Mo Kio, and Jurong Point stores, and its flagship Tampines Megastore.
COURTS Causeway Point stands out from the crowd with a full LED-lit store frontage, which shares the store’s latest promotions.
The redesigned store boasts an open, welcome design concept that encourages in-store browsing.
With a newly painted interior, tailored spot lighting fixtures and minimalist light grey flooring, the store presents a clean and welcoming backdrop that lets the products take centre stage. The open, welcome design concept has reduced crowded displays in favour of in-store experience and theatre, encouraging shoppers to take their time and browse. The store environment transits from clean, white lighting for the electrical and IT product range, to softer, warm lighting that showcases its furniture and bedding range in the best light. Magnetic display fittings make price ticketing a breeze, enhancing store productivity.
The redesigned furniture showroom displays COURTS’ latest made-to-order and ready-stocked models, comprising the brand’s latest designs of sofas, coffee tables, dining tables and chairs, and wardrobes. Inspirational settings allow homeowners to try out and visualise their desired sofa within a furnished home setting, while customisation racks enable them to self-browse and select easily from a range of leather and fabrics for made-to-order designs. Taking centre stage in the furniture area is the new recliner display, showcasing COURTS’ latest reclining sofa and chair range – perfect to suit multi-generational home living, where seniors and children alike can enjoy the living room in comfort. COURTS, as the island’s largest bedding retailer, showcases its wide range of bedding at Causeway Point, offering up to five varying degrees of mattress firmness and every material to suit every sleeper’s preference. Warm spot lighting invites shoppers to try out each mattress in total comfort.
The new IT and electrical range has been carefully curated to offer the latest models on the market coupled with the best value. The new IT area showcases interactive displays featuring the latest and greatest in computing, including new ASUS and Lenovo concepts, as well as the latest gaming models from the likes of Acer, Alienware, HP and Razer, as well as engaging Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 gaming stations. COURTS’ TV range has a good mix of premium and entry-level models, including the latest OLED and QLED models on the market, while its cameras and wearables section features the latest in this trending category. A brand new feature is the Smart Home feature wall, putting the spotlight on the rising demand for smart home technology among Singapore consumers, and featuring products to smarten up the home.
Kitchen shoppers can rejoice, as a new Hobs and Hoods section brings the likes of Ariston, Electrolux, Tecno and Turbo into store displays, enabling shoppers to easily have a feel for the size and fit of their cooking hobs. While shopping for their kitchen appliances, shoppers can engage in culinary delights with an interactive cooking demonstration area. An expanded cooling area featuring a large air-conditioning, standing and ceiling fan range enables shoppers to try out various fan speeds at their leisure. Shoppers can also browse the brand new washer and refrigerator ranges which have been specially curated to meet all family usage needs.
In line with its commitment as a one-stop provider of home solutions, COURTS Causeway Point also boasts a new GURU counter, the brand’s in-house solutions provider offering extended warranty protection, installation, maintenance and repair services for the gadgets and furnishings customers can buy in store. At the same time, Design Studio by COURTS offers its home renovation services through resident interior designer TWerkz’s kitchen design solutions.
“COURTS Causeway Point is the latest in our commitment to transform the physical home shopping experience for Singaporeans, and continue to offer them that irreplaceable joy of a satisfying shopping trip. Being able to consult with in-store experts, exploring complementary home and fix-it solutions, customising their home furnishings, being inspired by home settings and seamless ‘click and collect’ shopping – these are all experiences that today’s savvy, omni-channel shopper looks for. Savvy customers can pick up online purchases at the new ‘Click and Collect’ counter, an increasingly common feature at COURTS stores.
