Headquartered in Singapore, Courts opened its first retail outlet in Singapore in 1974. It is one of the largest furniture, electronics and IT retailers in Southeast Asia. Courts started as a furniture retailer and subsequently started retailing electrical products in the 1980s and IT products in the late 1990s.
Constantly transforming the concept of home retailing in Singapore, Courts was one of the retailers who pioneered out-of-town shopping. Introducing Courts’ largest flagship store in Singapore in 2006, Courts Megastore at Tampines Retail Park, was awarded the Best VM Solution at the Retail Interiors Awards 2007, United Kingdom. Courts Megastore, with a retail floor space of 136,200 square feet, is a ‘big box’ concept catering to increasing consumer preferences for a one-stop shop. In 2005, Courts was awarded the International Headquarters Award by Singapore's then Minister for Trade and Industry.
Courts carries the largest selection of home furnishings, domestic appliances, home entertainment solutions and the latest digital technology. It also offers consumers a hassle-free in-house credit option, Home Club Max Credit, to make consumers’ dream lifestyle more affordable.
With a dedicated team of more than 600 employees in Singapore, Courts is committed to provide excellent customer service to its customers and was the first Furniture, Electronics/IT retailer awarded the Singapore Service Class (S-Class) Certification by SPRING Singapore. Courts currently has nine stores located island wide in Singapore.
